The Life project “Innovation against Poison” holds on April, 5, 2013, a public workshop about “Management of populations of Wild rabbit and Red Partridge” in Spain.
The Life project “Innovation against Poison” (LIFE09 NAT/ES/000533) is holding a first session of a workshop on the management of hunting species, their biology and technical processes. It is addressed to members of the “European Networks of Hunters against Poison” of the Life project. The admission to the event is free although there are limited places.
During the event there will be treated different topics related to the European Network of Hunters against Poison, the management and handling of Wild Rabbit and Red Partridge populations, their biology, problems and management of both species. These topics will be closed by debates on the illegal use of poison baits and the anti-illegal poisoning tools addressed to hunters.
The session will take place in April, the 5th at the Autonomous Local Body “Villa de Jódar” of Jódar (Jaén, Spain). The organization will include the collaboration of the Municipality of Jódar and the Hunting Federation of Andalucía.

The training session is part of the actions associated to the European Networks against Poison in the Andalucía pilot areas. It will be developed in the framework of the Life+ project “Innovative actions against illegal use of poison baits in EU Mediterranean pilot areas”, leaded by Gypaetus Foundation.
