The Life project “Innovation Against Poison” holds on March, 8, 2013, a public workshop about “Management of Animal Sub-products”
The session will take place at Zahara de la Sierra (Cádiz, Spain), in the pilot area of the Life project, with the collaboration of regional and local institutions. The session is organized in the frame of the European Networks of Stockbreeders against Poison. En español.


The training session, organized by Gypaetus Foundation and the School of Stockbreeders of Andalucía, is about the management of animal sub-products. It is addressed to members of the “European Networks of Stockbreeders against Poison” of the Life project, among other groups. The admission to the event is free although there are limited places. 

During the event there will be treated different topics related to protected feeding areas for scavengers and the sanitary criteria for the abandonment of carcasses and other animal sub-products at extensive livestock areas. This session will take place in March, the 8th at the plenary room of the city hall of Zahara de la Sierra (Cádiz, Spain).

The organization will include the collaboration of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment of the Government of Andalucía, the School of Stockbreeders of Andalucía, the municipality of Zahara de la Sierra, the municipality of Grazalema and several local conservation associations.

The training session is part of the actions related to the European Networks Against Poison of the pilot areas of Andalucía. It will be developed in the scope of the Life+ project “Innovative actions against illegal use of poison baits in EU Mediterranean pilot areas”, leaded by Gypaetus Foundation.
